Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize, track and drive quality projects using formal project management and quality assessment tools including problem solving and root cause analysis and implementation. Communicate milestone dates and contingency plans if needed
- Manage document control system for Quality Assurance System Documents and Procedures by developing, implementing, training, and ensuring adherence on a continuous basis.
- Responsible for management of quality requirements associated with the development and launch of new products and product changes, including FAR’s, retained samples, engineering change control and in-process checks
- Author and/or review design input/output/validation documents, product and process specifications, control plans and/or test methods
- Develop, implement and train a quality system including risk evaluations, validation of processes/tools/product, FMEA, statistical test design, statistical lifetime estimation, and “QHSE Zero Vision & 4-Eyes Wide Open” programs
- Additional Responsibilities
- Manage and conduct internal/external audits to assure compliance and continual improvement
- Review activities for receiving inspection, starting materials release, and process validation
- Interface with Operations to assure that quality considerations and requirements are adequately covered in manufacturing procedures, equipment selection, design, validation and training
- Participate in internal and supplier product development projects from the initial requirements phases through to the QA, deployment phases and develop necessary methodologies for process and product quality control
- Establishes corrective actions for non-conformance and ensures timely resolution. Executes and reports best practices to support continuous improvement within the site and the FHCS Quality Community (e.g. monthly Global Quality Calls, SharePoint)

Qualifications
- Professional Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in quality preferred, or other technical field
- 4+ years of in-depth Quality System implementation and execution in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 or comparable management system
- 3+ years of on-site process quality engineering or supplier QA consultancy
- Experience as management system auditor preferred, at least as internal auditor
- Specific knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and able to put ideas into tangible form
- Proven ability to drive projects and lead teams
- Highly skilled in organization and priority setting; ability to manage and execute on multiple, critical projects simultaneously
- Ability to train and develop staff
- Expert root cause analysis skills
- Knowledge of change management processes
