Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000
Permanent Position with Benefits
Youngstown, Ohio area Steel Production Facility is looking for an experienced Steel Quality Claims Manager who will be responsible for managing quality claims related to carbon flat rolled steel products. The Quality Claims Manager will verify quality issues, work with mills, coating lines, suppliers, and vendors to resolve quality issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Quality and/or Business Management and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a flat roll steel mill, steel production, or steel processing facility.
Preferred Candidate would have direct experience with Quality Control Processes, Industrial Coatings & Paints, Quality Inspection, Evaluating Quality Claim Data / Reports, providing Detailed Documentation of Defects, and hands-on experience Handling and Managing Quality Claims.
Any experience with ISO or other quality standards is valued.
Candidate must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
