Description:
Cutting Edge Fabrication seeks a highly motivated individual with quality inspection experience for our custom welding and fabrication operations.
In this job, you will be responsible for the following:
Verify raw material compliance.
Engage and understand customer expectations.
Inspect welds to AWS and ASME standards.
Fabrication inspection to print specification.
Ensure the highest quality level of products and services.
Report quality issues to upper management.
Other duties as required.
Requirements:
Familiar with AWS and ASME welding code knowledge.
Excellent math skills, including trigonometry and geometry.
Blueprint reading, including GD&T.
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is a plus but not required.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Forklift and overhead crane experience.
Must have good attendance and be on time.
Embrace and demonstrate company values.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
