Responsibilities

Serves as a resource for continuous quality improvement throughout the organization. Prepares reports and communicates quality data and other quality related information to appropriate committees, teams, and leadership. Assists multidisciplinary teams and departments system wide in meeting quality related goals. Facilitates process improvement projects with various teams and departments to improve workflow, efficiency, and performance of quality metrics throughout the organization.

Provides training and information sessions on quality management topics as needed.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business, Engineering, or Healthcare related field and a minimum of two years previous work experience in Quality and/or Process Improvement.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to function effectively with a wide variety of disciplines, including physicians and hospital leaders.

Ability to provide presentations on topics related to quality improvement issues.

Able to lead a multidisciplinary team to accomplish an assigned project.

Proven project management expertise.

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Power Point, and MS Project.

PREFERRED:

Previous training as a team leader and facilitator.

Certification in Lean, Project Management, CPHQ, or other Quality certification strongly preferred.
