Carrefour Global Sourcing, a leading global retailer, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality & Production Manager to drive growth in the hardline and textile sector. This key role involves oversee production processes, ensure the highest standards of quality control and collaborate with suppliers to maintain product quality, frequent travel to factories, safety and compliance with Carrefour Global Sourcing’s standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce quality control processes across production units to ensure products meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Lead and motivate a team of quality professionals to achieve departmental goals, fostering a results-driven, collaborative environment.
Coordinate closely with suppliers and third-party inspectors to maintain product quality and ensure adherence to Carrefour’s standards.
Design and deliver quality management training programs for staff, ensuring consistent application of standards across the organization.
Review daily quality reports to ensure compliance with Carrefour standards and conduct pre-audits and technical audits to uphold social and quality compliance.
Ensure all products comply with Carrefour’s quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Work with commercial teams to provide technical solutions, assess risks and alert relevant parties regarding safety and production capacity issues.
Manage item codes and assist suppliers with accurate item information input within Carrefour’s system.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management or production engineering, preferably in the hardline or textile industries.
Availability for frequent travel, both domestically and internationally, to oversee production processes and collaborate with suppliers.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and familiarity with quality assurance methodologies like Six Sigma and Lean.
Fluency in English and Turkish required. Fluency in French or Spanish is a plus.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
