Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all products in packaging and ensure compliance with company food safety and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
Monitor, conduct, coordinate, and document inspection of the packaging process.
Sampling and testing of the product in compliance with procedures.
Proper documentation of test results.
Recommend disposition of acceptance or rejection of in-process products.
Assists QA Supervisor and QA Manager in special projects.
Notifies supervisor of any deviation, incident and non-conforming situations.
Maintain finished packaged retention samples.
Assist in the investigation of situations and the internal audit program.
Submit change requests to correct packaging routers.
Requirements
2 years + proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, vision inspection systems, and CMMs.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to identify defects or inconsistencies.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual (Spanish) desired.
