Quality Resident Liaison / Automotive Representative
TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Quality Resident Liaison/Representative in Lansing, MI.
This job is key for the success of TRIGO’s Quality Resident Engineering business, with objectives to be accomplished to the highest feasible standards to avoid official claims from the customer through preventive and corrective actions.
Responsibilities:
Ensure customer satisfaction through technical support and quality issue resolution.
Build a strong professional relationship with the customer at the plant level.
Act as the contracted customer’s representative qualified to handle production issues.
Maintain open communication between OEM and the contracted customer.
Suggest improvements to both OEM and the contracted customer.
Analyze problems at OEM’s facility and inform affected production plants for corrective actions.
Provide continuous feedback to the customer about the status of existing claims.
Participate in customer meetings as required.
Seek continuous feedback on customer satisfaction regarding products and services.
Audit how the customer handles our products regularly.
Stay trained and updated on technical and quality topics through regular meetings and visits.
Report any competitor initiatives to the TRIGO Resident Liaison Manager.
Report regularly to the contracted partner’s team.
Participate in prototype, pre-serial builds, and engineering changes at the customer as needed.
Report to the TRIGO Country Resident Manager and defined contacts externally.
Coordinate repair and/or sorting activities on site, based on written confirmation from the contracted client.
Required Skills:
Strong mechanical skills.
Experience in process and process controls.
Ability to identify and implement standardized work.
Experience in process and product audits.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
Strong leadership skills.
Experience with sequencing of automotive parts (preferred).
Personal Skills:
Ability to handle pressure and ambiguous situations.
Eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Self-motivated and a self-starter.
Strong integrity and ability to represent the company.
Able to build long-term win-win relationships with clients.
Excellent problem-solving and customer relationship skills.
Ability to be on call at any time.
