Job purpose
The Quality Specialist position is responsible to verify inbound and outbound material quality. The person in this position will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. Comprehension of product quality standards is essential.
Duties and responsibilities
- Understand job/shipping/labeling instructions, and inspect finished good shipments for compliance to these instructions.
- Document inspection results and forward to the Quality Management team for review.
- Assist product/process troubleshooting and analysis to solve quality and process problems, and prevent their recurrence.
- Conduct other inspections and containment actions as directed by Manufacturing and Quality Department Supervisors/Leaders.
- Support production staff as needed.
- Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager
Qualifications
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Familiarity with basic hand tools, quality gauges, and inspection methods.
- A willingness to learn various MS Office tools.
- 1 year manufacturing experience.
- High School Diploma.
Working conditions
Work will be performed in a shop and office environment. Noise levels of less than 90 decibels are present at times. Position requires ability to twist, turn and lift objects up to 40 lbs. For items in excess of 40 lbs lift assists are provided

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
