Quality Control Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control specialist to join our team. The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of electrical components for industrial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of standards and regulations, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Quality Control Specialist will conduct inspections, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Administration of the Quality Management System
Perform the various periodic project jobsite audits as required
Review provided drawings, specifications, approved RFI’s and submittals, etc. for quality requirements
Conduct and record all quality inspection and testing activities on the appropriate Inspection and Test Reports as required
Coordinate ITP audit, hold, monitor, and witness points with client, owner, engineer, etc. PRIOR TO any inspection and /or testing activities
Perform periodic project job site audits, surveillances, along with other supporting quality documentation as required
Gather records for quality Turnover Package submission
Attend required and refresher training related to company, vendor, and regulatory compliance
Attend safety training as directed
Must comply with all safety and company rules and regulations
Prepare & coordinate nonconformance reports

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 year experience in manufacturing, quality control or related field
2-5 years hands-on experience working with measurement tools
Able to read drawings and blueprints and MTR’s
Experience in industrial construction
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint
Ability to coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously
Ability to demonstrate flexibility and creativity
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required
Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Regular and reliable attendance at work

Salary and Benefits:

Full-Time
Salary at $20.00 – $25.00 an hour, commensurate with experience.
