Job Summary
L&W Industries, LLC, manufacturer of signal equipment for the Rail Industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet both internal and external quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control processes, regulatory compliance, and the ability to analyze data effectively. The Quality Assurance Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality and excellence.

Shift and Hours:
● Monday-Thursday; 5:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Compensations:
● Non-exempt; pay will be commensurate with experience. Starting pay $22 per hour.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to assess product specifications.
Implement and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings, including non-conformance issues.
Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Participate in internal audits and assist in the preparation for external audits.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality assurance processes.
Skills
Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
Proficient in using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, ect.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Other Requirements:
● Able to lift 50lbs or less.
● Must pass a drug screen.
● Must be able to work in a team with others.
● Must be able to follow instructions and take direction.
Working Conditions:
● Must follow personal protective equipment policies.
● Work in manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise and fumes.
● Fast-paced environment with moving objects, sharp edges, and congested work area.
● Will be pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching overhead, grasping, and lifting to 50 pounds.
