ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for the Quality Management System, Quality Control Processes, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Management, Metric and reporting and ensure that products or services meet the required quality standards and specifications. In addition, the Quality Manager is responsible for identifying any defects, deviations from specifications, or other quality issues. They may also use specialized equipment to perform tests and measurements to evaluate product quality.
Quality plays an important role in maintaining customer satisfaction, as they help to ensure that products or services meet the expectations of customers and comply with relevant regulations and standards. Responsible for inspecting food processing facilities, conducting tests on food products, and monitoring food handling and storage practices.
REQUIREMENT: Must hold a GMP/HACCP training certification to be considered.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main role of a quality control inspector is to maintain the quality of a company’s products or services and ensure customer satisfaction including federal conformance and safety. Responsibilities include:
Inspecting Products or Materials Inspects raw materials, work-in-progress products, or finished products to identify any defects, deviations from specifications, or other quality issues.
Performing Tests: Responsible for complying with GMP guidelines and state requirements for products consumed with HEMP products or/and Nutraceuticals.
Documenting Results: Responsible for documenting their findings and reporting any issues to relevant parties, such as production managers, engineers, or quality assurance managers.
Developing and Implementing Quality Control Procedures: Involved in developing and implementing quality control procedures known as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure that products or services meet the required quality standards. This may involve creating inspection checklists, or quality control plans.
Quality Management System: Develop/ Implement/Maintain the comprehensive quality management system to ensure adherence to quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
Consistent inspections: Daily walk-throughs are conducted in the production area and warehouse to ensure that business is meeting GMP guidelines expectations including personal hygiene, batch record process, and documentation. This includes validating packaging records.
Will collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify and resolve quality issues and to ensure that quality control procedures are effective.
Will also review packaging labels created to ensure they are compliant with Federal and State guidelines requirements including QA label review during Design. Inspector is responsible for handling, documenting, and remediating any corrective action process. Handle customer complaints about products or/and improvements needed within our process.
Responsible for hosting Federal and State inspections. This includes handling any business certification needed for the business.

Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
