Job Details

Position hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm or 9:00am – 6:00pm

Please note, this position is fully onsite at our facility in Wilmington, MA. Candidates will be required to work onsite Monday-Friday. This position does not offer a hybrid or remote work option.

This role plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with World Courier policies and procedures at the local level. They are responsible for overseeing quality-related activities within the Transport divisions of the organization. They provide guidance to office and divisional associates on matters of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Incident Management: Review and manage incident documentation, participate in investigations, provide quality input, support corrective actions, and report deviations to global QA and local leadership. Ensure effective handling of customer complaints.

QMS Management: Develop and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS), organize management review meetings.

Supplier Qualification Management: Oversee supplier evaluation, audits, and performance monitoring to meet quality expectations.

Inspections and Certification Audits: Serve as main auditor contact, communicate with relevant parties, respond to inquiries, and develop corrective action plans.

Risk Management and Change Control: Support risk management and change control processes, communicate changes to clients.

Pest Control and Facility Cleaning: Ensure proper implementation and documentation of pest control and cleaning programs.

Technical Quality Support: Oversee technical change controls, calibration, maintenance, and validation programs.

Documentation Management: Ensure accurate documentation of all quality-related activities.

Quality Data Management: Use software tools like Master Control and SharePoint for quality data management.

Quality Checks and Control: Monitor product/service quality throughout the lifecycle, conduct quality checks.

Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.

Quality Training and

Education:

Develop and implement training programs on quality standards and practices.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, participate in client feedback monitoring, and implement improvement methodologies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and

Education

High School Diploma/GED required; BS in Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

2-5 years of experience in Quality, Operations, or related healthcare field.

2+ years of coordination/supervisory experience in a similar setting.

Basic PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Understanding of quality assurance in a regulated environment.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to build relationships internally and externally.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Salary Range

$56,500 – $83,270. Actual salary may vary based on location and other factors.
