Quality Supervisor – Longford
We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Supervisor to join a leading food manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional looking to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced production environment.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will lead a team of QA/QC Technicians, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and compliance are maintained across the site. You’ll work closely with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Technical teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain audit readiness.
The role
- Lead, coach, and develop the QA/QC Technician team.
- Oversee daily quality checks, GMP audits, product inspections, and verification activities.
- Manage non-conformances, root cause investigations, and CAPA implementation.
- Support BRCGS, customer, and regulatory audits, ensuring the site is audit-ready.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, traceability, and food safety standards.
- Monitor product quality, labelling, and specifications throughout production.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Support quality KPIs, customer satisfaction, and food safety culture initiatives.
About You
- Degree or Diploma in Food Science or a related discipline.
- Experience in a Quality role within food manufacturing, with previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, and food safety systems.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
