Job Title: Quality Technician – I
Department: Quality Control
Reports to: Director of Quality & Customer Satisfaction
Basic Function: Maintain and manage all QC activities in the Shipping & Receiving Departments.
Corporate Responsibilities:

Departmental Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate incoming product inspections
Manage and coordinate final inspections (dock audits) including reporting of noncompliance issues
Support all departments with quality related tasks
Secondary Responsibilities:
Initiate, document and communicate nonconforming issues under your primary role
Lead a cross functional team when nonconforming issues arise
Become cross-trained in all aspects of the department
Maintain departmental documents

Qualifications:
At least three (3) years’ work experience in the quality field or work-related experience.
Basic understanding of ISO 9001:2015
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Customer service oriented (both internal and external)
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English
Must have strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
