The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance team to ensure that products are manufactured to meet both internal and external quality standards. The position involves supervising the day-to-day quality control processes, performing inspections, conducting audits, and ensuring the continuous improvement of the quality management system. The Quality Supervisor will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
Main Responsibilities
Assist staff responsible for sourcing, purchasing and quality in defining supplier expectations and objectives.
Monitor production processes and make recommendations for process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Lead the overall execution of internal product audits and nonconformance resolution. Support troubleshooting at the plant and supplier levels.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the production and engineering teams.
Collect and analyze product data. Use this data to support improvement initiatives to reduce the risk of defects.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal procedures for quality documentation.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a safe working environment in the quality control areas.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field
3+ years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of quality management systems and good knowledge of quality control tools and techniques
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaboratively work with cross-functional departments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
