Job Summary Determine and implement processes and documentation for all new, transfer and existing molds.
Essential Functions:
Optimize current production molds at outsource vendors.
Help trouble shoot processing/manufacturing concerns at outsource vendors
Participate in Kaizen events for production processes including automation.
Work closely with Quality Department to understand customer criteria in order to meet and exceed customer expectations for Quality.
Track status and results of all mold trials.
Participate in pre-HVPT and production quality activities. Validating processing/concerns from vendor during tool transfer.
Participate in other manufacturing and maintenance functions as requested.
Assure adherence to all company safety policies as well as improvements based on corrective and preventative actions.
Other Management assigned tasks as required.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Preferred or Minimum (5) years processing experience in injection molding and experience with engineering grade resins.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to successfully execute essential functions of job
Highly detail oriented
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills to successfully execute essential functions of job
Excellent computer skills.
25% to 50% Travel / Off Shift Hours – as requested.
