QUALITY SYSTEMS (SENIOR) SPECIALIST – MALTA

Exciting opportunity to join a well-established pharma company in Malta where quality truly takes centre stage. We’re searching for a Quality Systems (Senior) Specialist ready to make a measurable impact within a forward-thinking QA team.
This role will report directly to the Quality Systems & Compliance Manager and plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing electronic quality systems, driving compliance with global regulations, and improving internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Maintain and control the company’s quality documentation system (SOPs, forms, batch records, Site Master File, etc.)
✔ Support the development and improvement of internal quality principles aligned with GMP (cGMP, ICH, 21 CFR)
✔ Manage electronic quality systems, ensuring full compliance with Computer System Validation (CSV) standards
✔ Participate in risk assessments related to site operations
✔ Lead and contribute to the Site Internal Audit Programme
✔ Coordinate and manage client and regulatory inspections
✔ Oversee the site’s document archiving and retention system
What You Bring
A post-secondary qualification in life sciences or related field (a degree is preferred)
Previous experience in a pharmaceutical quality systems environment is a strong asset
Strong familiarity with MS Office; experience with systems like TrackWise and LabWare is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently
