HAF QA Review:

Review HAF files to ensure completeness and accuracy
Ensure file meets all program requirements
Review documentation to ensure processor has documented everything
Be able to identify files that require escalation or supervisor review and seek out supervisor assistance
Use QA checklist to review files and document said review and all correspondence within the application portal

Communication/Professional Development:

Ongoing communication with HAF team to ensure files are being processed according to IHFA policies and procedures
Participate in team meetings and trainings on an ongoing basis
Reach out to supervisor with any questions
Ensure accurate documentation of HAF files
Follow privacy policies for working with Personally Identifiable Information and sensitive information
Adhere to retention protocols and requirements

Customer Service

Respond to applicant, servicer and vendor inquiries in a courteous, complete and clear manner
Represent the Association and the program in a professional manner internally and externally
Work cooperatively with partner organizations and other business units with IHFA

May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred but will consider equivalent experience
Demonstrated knowledge of the regulations, policies and procedures governing various federal assisted-housing programs
Experience in use of budgets, federal grant administration, productivity monitoring, training on program policies and procedures, and partner relations
Ability to plan, organize, assign and review work activities, follow instructions, meet deadlines, and organize work effectively
Ability to identify critical path barriers and process improvements
Ability to identify training needs among personnel
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to prepare reports, studies and correspondence
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
