Ladesco, Inc., based in Manchester, NH, is an industry leader in custom electronic component manufacturing. We provide a wide variety of wound magnetic devices and sub-assemblies.
The Quality Technician’s primary responsibilities are to initiate, maintain, and control manufacturing and quality test experiments to completion. A successful candidate will have a solid Quality background in mechanical and/or electrical testing and evaluation, preferably both.
Responsibilities/Duties:
· Recognize quality, manufacturing, and process-related discrepancies and provide written documentation relating to testing processes and results
· Maintain various Quality log files, providing a warning when expiration dates are imminent
· Instruct operators in the use of inspection equipment, inspection methods, and in identifying and applying inspection criteria
· Ability to understand and work from blueprints, customer drawings, and in-house process sheets
· Follow verbal and/or written instructions/directions from manufacturing, engineering, and quality departments
· Ability to coordinate efforts with other technicians and /or engineering support to complete assigned tasks
Qualifications / Experience:
· Proficiency with the use of mechanical measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers, dial/digital indicators, and rulers
· Knowledge of documentation procedures and control
· Ability to evaluate and adjust to new products, processes, and procedures
· Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment
· Ability to use Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office
· Experience with incoming inspection of raw materials is not required but is a plus
· Familiarity with calibration processes, systems, and procedures is not required but is a plus
· Programming experience for semi-automated testing systems is not required but is a plus
