This is advanced professional compliance and quality assurance work for the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). The position reports to the Section 8/ Housing Choice Voucher Division. The incumbent is responsible for conducting comprehensive quality assurance reviews to assess and enhance the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of the Section 8/ HCV program. Key responsibilities include evaluating applicant and participant eligibility, verifying income sources, and ensuring that all documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with federal and Miami Dade policies. Additionally, the role involves conducting systematic file audits following with the Section Eight Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) guidelines to identify discrepancies, mitigate risks, flag potential welfare fraud and support continuous program improvement.
