About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Technician to support and enhance our quality processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications, performing inspections, testing, and documentation of materials and finished goods to verify compliance with customer and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process, incoming, and final inspections on raw materials, components, and finished products using measuring tools and testing equipment.
  • Conduct routine product testing and record data in accordance with quality control procedures.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product conformity.
  • Maintain accurate and organized quality records, inspection reports, and calibration documentation.
  • Communicate quality concerns promptly to supervisors and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues.
  • Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and verification of inspection and measurement equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certificate in quality, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, testing, or a related manufacturing role preferred.
  • Proficient with basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office and quality management software (e.g., Minitab, ERP, or LIMS systems).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and record-keeping abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment involving moderate noise, machinery, and occasional temperature variation.
  • Consistent attendance for the scheduled shift is required.
  • Night shift candidates: Please note this position requires a mandatory 2-week daytime training period before transitioning to the night shift schedule.
