Quality Technician – $19/hr Jobs in Farmington, CT at Ultimate Nutrition, Inc.
Ultimate Nutrition, a trusted supplement manufacturer since 1979, is hiring a Quality Technician to join our production quality team. In this role, you’ll perform in-process checks, verify documentation, and help ensure every product meets GMP and GDP standards before it reaches customers in over 160 countries.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm EST
Reports To: Quality Manager
Responsibilities:
- Perform checks on weighing, paperwork, and sampling processes for accuracy.
- Verify documentation complies with GMP, GDP, and SOP standards.
- Collect and coordinate in-process and finished product samples.
- Monitor process controls and record measurements.
- Report out-of-spec conditions to the Quality Manager.
- Conduct daily safety and sanitation walkthroughs.
- Assist with shipping/receiving and retention sample retrieval as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in food manufacturing (nutritional supplement experience preferred).
- High School Diploma required.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with 21 CFR 111 and GDP standards preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
