Quality Technician Jobs in Coppell, Texas, USA at Premier LogiTech
The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO
9001 and/or AS9100 standards, conducting audits, and implementing root cause corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and a keen eye for detail.
Essential Responsibilities:
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO
9001 and/or AS9100 standards as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Support training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff to ensure all team members are proficient in their roles and understand company procedures.
Document and report non-conformance issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions internally and for Premier customers.
Performing independent audits of processes, products and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and audit reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in the preparation for external audits and certifications.
Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions.
Work in partnership with production teams to identify and troubleshoot quality issues before and during production processes.
Develop and implement quality control procedures, tests, and sampling plans to ensure consistency and reliability of production processes and products.
Analyzing and interpreting data from product tests, internal report and inspections to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Investigating customer complaints, product defects, and non-conformances to determine the root cause and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Supporting Management duties as needed.
Skills and Specifications
Required:
Preferred 3-5 years of quality technician experience working in warehouse operations environment
Solid knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different stakeholders
Competence in using quality control and statistical analysis tools such as Lean and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Deep understanding of QC Processes, including Sample Rates and Final Inspections
Preferred Certification in Quality Auditing (CQA) or similar
Ability to clearly communicate in English verbally and in writing
Ability to review and understand customer specifications
Familiar with most consumer electronic devices (laptops, tablets, cell phones, etc.)
Reasonable operational knowledge of MS Office products. (Excel, Teams, Outlook)
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass customer background checks as required by our customers
Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Ability to continuously bend and reach
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to view small details on product
Ability to hear and identify audio irregularities of devices
