Quality Technician
Job Description
Inspect and monitor parts to ensure good quality parts are produced and delivered.
Set-up and check dimensions on parts, using metrology instruments, to ensure parts meet quality standards and dimensions are accurate.
Red tag and create repair orders for non-conforming parts.
Perform gage studies and capability studies.
Interface with the Quality Manager to address quality issues.
Enter data from paper documents for record keeping purposes.
Check, sort, and file paperwork.
Continuous improvement activities and various other duties as required by the department.
Quality Technician Requirements
Minimum of two years of Quality experience utilizing check fixtures, calipers and micrometers.
Must be a self-starter.
Well organized with good written and verbal communication skills.
Must also be dependable and motivated.
