Summary
We are seeking a Food Safety Manager to join our team at BCFoods. In this critical role, you will oversee the implementation and management of food safety programs to ensure compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the integrity of our products and safeguarding public health.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement food safety management systems in accordance with HACCP principles.
Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with production teams to maintain quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
Analyze data related to food safety incidents and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Train staff on food safety practices and protocols to promote a culture of safety.
Ensure adherence to CGMP guidelines and ISO 13485 standards within operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
Proven experience in food safety management or quality assurance roles.
Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and quality systems.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Effective project management abilities with strong organizational skills.
Familiarity with CGMP regulations and ISO 13485 is preferred.
