Role Description and Objective: A QT3 has shown excellent proficiency in the use of basic measuring devices and will often specialize in some area(s) of advanced inspection capability. A QT3 is trusted implicitly in their ability to inspect accurately and is a critical to the efficient flow of work through the quality department for First Article Inspections (FAI), spot checks, and Final Inspections.
Primary Responsibilities and Experience:
Education/Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
(4) yrs. experience in a manufacturing environment which provided substantial experience in the use of advanced measuring equipment such
as:
Various Manual Measurement Equipment (i.e. Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, Gage blocks & pins, etc.)
Vision-based measuring systems (i.e. Keyence, OGP, etc)
Optical Comparators
Laser Measuring
Roundness and Cylindricity testing
Surface finish and Form testing
