The Role
of Quality Technician:
We’re looking for a
hands-on
Quality Technician to join our growing quality team. Based on the shopfloor, you’ll be the first point of contact for production quality issues and play a key part in ensuring our high standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the first response for any part quality issues raised on the shopfloor
Raise and log care points where needed
Carry out internal calibration for tools such as torque guns
Perform goods inwards inspections and complete associated paperwork
Collect and process scrap parts daily
Support injection moulding with detailed measurements
Help with training operators in quality awareness
Assist sub-supplier inspection activities when required
Support the inspection area during busy periods or low staffing
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a quality role within automotive manufacturing
Confident communicator across all levels of the business
Comfortable reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment
Knowledge of quality tools, SPC, and techniques
A proactive,
problem-solving
mindset
Driving licence and own transport (desirable)
