Shift & Location
This is a full‑time, on‑site role on the third shift. Occasional flexibility may be required to support alternate shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical and chemical testing on retail products to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine sampling and auditing of retail and industrial packaging materials and raw ingredients for quality and specification adherence.
- Initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain and update testing procedures in alignment with industry best practices.
- Maintain adherence to company material specifications and regulatory guidelines.
- Input and manage test results in the Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and complete Certificates of Analysis (COA) for outbound shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, following all laboratory safety protocols.
- Perform shift‑based specialty tasks such as environmental monitoring, water quality monitoring, and sample shipping.
- Manage and prepare customer retail samples for shipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as FDA, GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
- Adhere to food safety and workplace safety protocols in alignment with company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree in a related field is a plus).
- Previous experience in quality control, laboratory testing, or a related role within a manufacturing or food production environment is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
