Job description
Job Summary
The Repack position is essential in ensuring that products are accurately packaged and prepared for shipment. This role involves working in a warehouse environment, where attention to detail and efficiency are crucial. The Repack team member will be responsible for handling various packaging tasks, utilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Repack all produce requested on a daily basis into proper distribution units and/or weights as directed.
Examine fruits and vegetable (“products”) to ensure quality.
Sort items for good and bad quality as directed.
Discard bad products and place them in specified area.
Ensure that all products leaving the repack area are of the highest quality and condition.
Count products and materials.
Maintain uniform piece counts when repacking and/or sorting items.
Label all repacked/sorted pallets with pallet labels for inventory integrity.
Package products into bags or cardboard containers as specified by client.
Examine and inspect containers prior to placing products inside.
Seal containers or packages after products are placed inside.
Assemble shipping boxes and bags for outbound shipping boxes.
Maintain a clean repack and work environment using cleaning solutions and hand tools, including end of shift cleaning and sanitation.
Maintain all repack tools in a safe and clean manner.
Adhere to all work safety and food safety policies, standards and procedures as outlined in the handbook and training sessions.
Follow all HACCP, GAP, and OSHA rules and regulations.
Follow instructions for reporting any unsafe or unsanitary conditions as soon as possible to a member of management.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Work Quality: Perform high quality work with little to no errors. Perform all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner. Handle inventory quickly with a high level of accuracy, care, and attention to detail. Be conscious and aware of your work and work surroundings. Perform all work in accordance with Dragonberry standards, policies, and established safety procedures.
Teamwork: Work well independently and within a team to complete projects and accomplish the goals of Dragonberry. Interact with workers in a manner which fosters positivity, good teamwork and cooperation and ensures an efficient and productive operation.
Attendance: Arrive to work on time and ready to work. Work throughout scheduled shift. It may be necessary to work overtime and/or weekends. The Repack specialist will work when needed, which may include different shifts and will need to be flexible within the work schedule.
Physical Demands:
Must lift and/or move up to 35 to 55 pounds.
Must be able to stand, reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to stand for the duration of an eight-hour shift, and occasionally into overtime.
Must be able to pull or push on a regular basis to move an object.
Must be able to lift and raise or lower objects from one level to another, ranging from floor level to overhead, regularly during the shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 – $16.50 per hour
