Job Summary: Entry Level Position
This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day quality assurance activities in the production environment. Assuring quality is met in all aspects of the production process, including filling, cleaning, and storing is integral to this position.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Inspect and Test Products: Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor Production Lines: Oversee the production process to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Document and Record Findings: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and results for compliance purposes.
- Verify Product Ingredients and Materials: Ensure that all raw materials, ingredients, and packaging meet the required specifications before production begins.
- Conduct Sampling: Select and inspect random product samples during production and at the finished goods stage.
- Train Employees on Quality Standards: Educate and train production staff on quality control standards as per the product specification.
- Perform Audits: Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management systems (e.g., Safety, GMP).
- Calibrate and Maintain Equipment: Calibrate and maintain quality testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Report Findings to Management: Communicate quality results and concerns to management, providing data and insights for decision-making.
- Additional duties as required by the Quality Control Manager

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Credentials/ Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, General Production Quality
Physical Demands
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a wet work area
Work Environment:
- May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
- May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
- May need to wear, PPE, and comply with all GMP requirements when in the warehouse
