NOW HIRING – QUALITY TECHNICIAN – WIRE HARNESS & CABLE ASSEMBLY
The Quality Technician is responsible for reviewing completed assemblies as well as inbound components to ensure customer receives product free of defects. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. Prior experience in Wire Harness Assembly as a Quality Inpsector would be a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
In process inspection of products built as indicated on the process sheets
Final review of all paperwork and documentation
Final inspection of the product built
Count verification for packaging
Assist in labelling and packaging of product
Repair of rejected product approved by the production manager
Assist the assembly group as needed
Help prepare for and assist in any customer or annual quality audits
SKILLS:
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to use ruler, caliper and othe related tools
Strong Math skills
Good vision, not color blind or color confused
Basics of crimp terminal technology
Basics of wire harness and cable design
Basic Inspection techniques related to IPC-620A and IPC-14C
EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience as quality inspector

Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour
