Located in Phoenix, Arizona, TPC manufactures electrochemical capacitors and components for defense, telecommunications, industrial, and various high-reliability applications. At TPC, we are focused on defining and delivering the future of mission-critical electronics.

Final Inspector, Phoenix, AZ

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Final Inspector will be responsible for the final inspection of parts after formation.

Expected Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Opportunity to work overtime on Saturdays

Responsibilities:

Conduct visual inspection of all parts and dimensional inspections from lots by taking samples.
Remove anodes from bars post formation by using nippers to release the welded anode.
Packaging of parts, including preparation of shipping forms, lot cards, and certificates of conformance.
Monitor packaging materials to maintain a sufficient stock, notifying the assistant manager when supplies are low.
Utilize basic computer skills to navigate and input data into production systems, tracking progress, documenting results, and communicating effectively with the team.
Operate measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to measure products and ensure they meet company standards.?
Consistently meet daily quotas to achieve quality targets, contributing to team efficiency and overall output.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:

Criteria For Success

High school diploma or equivalent required.
MUST be considered a U.S. Person eligible to work in the United States.
MUST be able to read and write in English.
Reliable transportation is essential.
Has the aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with various software applications are necessary.
General knowledge of Inspection processes and procedures preferred.
Ability to use a microscope for visual inspection.
Capability to use micrometers and calipers.
Aptness to follow directions and processes.
Possess a collaborative team-oriented mindset and personality with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
Strong time management and communication skills.
Ability to keep the workspace clean and adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
Demonstrates strong sustained attention and concentration skills to maintain focus and productivity on complex tasks over extended periods.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

General office and manufacturing environment.
Exposure to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools.
Requires manual dexterity and the ability to manipulate small objects.
Involves repetitive hand movements.
The ability to confirm that the packing slips match the COFC.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
Capability to use a hand truck and other assistive devices for items over 40 pounds
Sitting for extended periods and standing on hard surfaces during the shift.
Walking to various stations within the work areas.
Sitting, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling motions.
Ability to handle small tools and parts with precision.
Visual acuity for reading measurements and conducting visual inspections.
Will be required to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as outlined in the company’s safety protocols.
