Our client is looking for a Quality Technician to support join their established yet ambitious ingredients business. A really exciting opportunity to join a motivated team with a great food safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain compliance records and support audits (internal, customer, third-party).
Manage equipment calibration, lab hygiene, and safety practices.
Maintain accurate documentation (MSDS, SAQs, certificates).
Monitor regulatory updates (FSA, Soil Association, BRCGS).
Raise and investigate non-conformances; support production teams.
Handle supplier/customer documentation and microbiology testing.
Promote high hygiene, GMP, and health & safety standards.
Requirements:
Experience in QA role within a food/pharma background.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards (FSSC, BRCGS, HACCP).
Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.
Comfortable handling allergens, raw meat/fish, and lab work.
