We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that products, materials, and manufacturing processes meet established quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will perform inspections and testing throughout the manufacturing process, identify and document non-conformances, support quality investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. As a member of the Client team, you will help ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of industry-leading aerospace and defense products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and testing of incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with established specifications and quality standards.
- Use precision measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other inspection tools, to evaluate product quality and dimensional conformity.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and technical documentation to ensure inspection requirements are met.
- Accurately document and communicate inspection results, including non-conformances, deviations, and other quality concerns, using designated systems and software.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, to investigate quality issues and develop effective resolutions.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Conduct audits of manufacturing processes to verify compliance with established procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving product quality, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and strengthening manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to company safety policies and compliance requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet established deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles.
- Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP.
- Experience using CMMs or other advanced inspection equipment.
Work Environment
- Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment and may require standing for extended periods.
- May require occasional lifting and handling of equipment or materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- May require occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work to support production schedules and business needs.
- Requires adherence to all applicable safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

The Quality Technician will work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, support corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
