W Talent is partnering with a highly respected manufacturer located in Worksop to find a detail-oriented, progressive Quality Technician to join their expanding quality team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Quality Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards and industry regulations. Your work will support both day-to-day operations and long-term product improvement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out regular inspections on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products through visual checks, dimensional analysis, and performance testing.
Maintain clear and accurate records of inspections and quality metrics, supporting audits and ongoing improvement.
Identify defects or non-conformities, conduct investigations, and collaborate with production and engineering to resolve issues.
Work closely with teams across production, engineering, and R&D to ensure continuous quality enhancement.
Help develop and update
quality control
procedures in line with evolving standards and best practices.
Use quality tools (such as 5 Whys, Pareto charts, and fishbone diagrams) to investigate and address recurring quality issues.
Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO and other relevant certifications.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain quality testing equipment for accurate and reliable results.
Support training efforts for production teams and champion a culture of quality throughout the organization.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate with some experience in a
quality inspection
, engineer, control or assurance role, ideally within a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with manufactured products would be an advantage. The ideal person will be highly detail-oriented with excellent
analytical skills
and a understanding of quality tools such as Six Sigma and ISO standards.
