Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our local Oldbury based client who are seeking a Quality Technician to work at both their Oldbury and Dudley site. The role will be 8 hour days on rotating shifts of 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am.
Duties and tasks will include:
To maintain the Company’s quality management system.
Day to day quality functions
Ensuring manufactured product is compliant to required standards.
To determine and implement continuous improvements.
Investigation, management and close out of internal and external nonconformities.
Continually reviewing effectiveness of raw material supply.
Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Identification and management of business risks.
Managing change throughout the Company.
Ensuring compliance with latest standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
Auditing internal external.
Inspection duties.
Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:
Experience of working in a Quality Department
Experience of operating a QMS within a large manufacturing facility
Materials testing / metallurgy of mild steel and stainless-steel products would be an advantage.
Experience of automotive supply an advantage, such as PPAP
