Quality Technician
Hours: 3:00PM-11:00PM

This job description serves as a guide for establishing the criteria to fill a specific function, or to appraise the level of performance related to that function. Fres-co System USA, Inc. may, in its sole discretion, choose to fill this function by contracting with individuals or corporate entities rather than hiring a staff member. 1. Job Summary:
a) Hourly, non-exempt, non-commissioned, non-supervisory position.
b) Position Summary: The person in this position is responsible for monitoring and reporting the quality of product being produced. This individual will provide quality leadership and input to the operator.
c) Reports to the Quality Supervisor.
2. Responsibilities:
a) Test samples from each press/laminator and perform required testing
b) Test samples of raw materials and perform required testing
c) Test samples from each slitting machine and perform required testing
d) Follow the proper procedure for non-conforming material
e) Communicate defects and test results to the operators
f) Enter all data into the Shop floor database
g) Manage lab retains and rotation of retains in mezzanine
h) Assist in special testing as required
i) Assist in training of new personnel
j) Support and ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are in place throughout the facility
k) Ensure timely completion of monthly GMP inspections
l) Cover quality department time off requests
m) Trouble shoot lab equipment
n) Perform Adhesive Mix Ratio testing
a) Business need may require overtime.
b) Other duties as assigned
