Quality Assurance Coordinator – Drive Excellence in Compliance & Standards

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance by developing, implementing, and maintaining key policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of compliance and excellence. Under the guidance of the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance, you will:

Foster a culture of quality by promoting and maintaining best practices across the organization.
Conduct thorough internal audits of WU and CT/ET donor charts, as well as apheresis collection records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Oversee department training compliance, keeping records up to date and assigning new training as needed.
Support investigations and resolutions of deviations, complaints, and adverse reactions to ensure continuous improvement.
Manage and maintain QA-related documents and reports, ensuring accessibility and compliance with regulatory standards.
Continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the Quality Management System across key departments, including Donor Services, Apheresis Center, Cellular Therapy Laboratory, and Gift of Life Biologics.
Gain in-depth knowledge of all organizational areas, developing a clear understanding of key functional processes and available resources.
Adapt and contribute to various quality-related projects and initiatives as needed to support organizational goals.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to ensure operational excellence and compliance.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Coordinator with a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and process improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Experience & Regulatory Knowledge:

1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance
Familiarity with FDA cGMP (21 CFR 210 & 211) and cGTP (21 CFR 1271) regulations
Understanding of QA principles, SOP compliance, and data management systems

Skills & Competencies:

Meticulous attention to detail with strong documentation and compliance practices
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-stakes environments
Exceptional communication and customer service skills, maintaining professionalism at all levels
Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory landscape
Project management expertise with the ability to drive continuous improvement

Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other data management software
Strong time management and organizational skills to handle competing priorities
Ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams

Physical Demands

This position is basically sedentary with some walking, standing, stooping and lifting required. Occasional lifting of objects weighing in excess of 20 pounds. Travel may also be required.
