This role is ideal for entry level, mature individuals, or retirees looking to stay active while making a valuable contribution to our quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough lineside and offline inspections to ensure materials meet customer specifications.
Utilize visual checks and precision measuring tools to identify defects and verify product quality.
Determine whether to reject, approve, or verify materials, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
Perform rework on defective materials or parts to meet customer standards.
Accurately document inspection results using reports, logs, or tally sheets that track defects and rework.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in line with 5S principles and job instructions.
Prioritize safety and compliance by following standard operating procedures and industry regulations.
Stay updated by reviewing job-specific work instructions to ensure process accuracy.
Requirements:
Flexible availability, including up to 12-hour shifts and weekends if needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination for precise inspections.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistency.
Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted during the shift.
