Finance Quality Assurance Manager
Living Alternatives for the Developmentally Disabled (L.A.D.D.) offers the unique opportunity to have blended responsibilities with the Finance Specialist and Director of Quality Improvement.
LADD is a Nonprofit Serving Berrien, Cass, Van Buren, and Calhoun Counties in Michigan. It provides services in Specialized Residential Homes, Supported Independent Living, Community Living Supports, and Respite Services.

Key Performance Requirements and Standards of this position, but not limited to:
Ensure benefits are established and maintained for all people served, eligible to receive services by coordinating with appropriate personnel such as MDHHS paperwork i.e., Redetermination, Application for Benefits, Food Assistance and Home Help
Ensure the ability to prioritize and manage all aspects of benefits, Medicaid eligibility, spend downs, Personal Care/Home Help eligibility and billing, SSA Benefits and payee responsibilities, and Food Assistance Program
Ensure phone calls and emails are returned promptly to provide good customer service.
Ensure promotion of quality services in all areas of the organization; and assist in maintaining and increasing quality. Including tasks within the AR/AP system such as utility tracking and communication with vendors.
This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support culturally competent, recovery-based practices, person centered planning as a shared decision-making process with the individual, who defines his or her own life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals and a trauma informed culture to aid individuals in their recovery process. Adhere to all policy and procedures of the organization.
Minimum Qualification and Experience
18 years of age
Office and Intermediate Computer experience working in Microsoft Office (OneDrive, Outlook, Word, and Excel) and Adobe.
Specialized experience and/or training received in using an electronic health record web-based system for data entry.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to easily move from task to task in a fast-paced environment
Good critical thinking skills.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions.
Able to work in a general office environment using a computer, keyboard, and other standard office equipment.
Work flexible or extended hours when necessitated by business.
Able to work in an environment where people supported live or attend periodically.
Able to successfully complete any required training.
