Description
1st Shift Position
Performs process audits to assure conformance to documented criteria.
Preparation and maintenance of PPAP packages.
Preferred to have someone with CMM experience.
Performs receiving inspection for steel, purchased parts, and outside processing as needed.
Informs Quality Manager and/or Quality Engineer of any unsafe working conditions.
Initiates action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
Verifies production control for corrective action and documentation, per applicable work instructions.
Performs outgoing inspection, including visual check, labeling, standard packing, gaging as required, and documents all results.
Treats all team members with respect and dignity.
Ensures EMS compliance for GTI plant and works with corporate to adhere to laws.
Manages quality alert system to ensure proper inspection with minimal process impact.
Monitors fast response process and performs corrective action validation as required.
Manages quality wall process to ensure proper flow, documentation, and resource efficiency.
Monitors weld teardown trends to meet customer requirements and implements proactive improvements to prevent weld failures and scrap.
Performs weld teardown testing per control plan requirements.
Performs other essential functions as assigned.
Requirements
High School diploma and/or GED preferred, coupled with quality experience. College classes are required; the company will pay for classes if passing grades are received.
