Job Description:
The Internal Process Auditor will be responsible for ensuring that all production processes at TWC Mouldings (Roughmill, Glue up, Moulding, Prime) are performed in compliance with job orders, procedures, and quality expectations.
This role will focus on auditing operational practices, identifying defects, promoting corrective actions, and supporting a culture of Quality and continuous improvement across all areas. This position will be liaison between PRODUCTION and SALES providing feedback to sales about limits on different manufacturing areas to improve quoting process.
Responsibilities:
Defect Prevention & Containment
Identify potential risks in top 3 measurables, Material, Time and Quality.
Quality Communication
Stand down with quality communication & escalation pad.
Effective communication with the proper supervisors in case they need more material or if there was material rejection.
Process Audit
Conduct scheduled and random audits thru all areas.
The auditor will follow the schedule for all orders + random audits.
Root Cause Analysis support
Pareto identification 80/20 80% of the problem is caused by 20% of the failures.
Assist investigating defects or process failures.
Training and Reinforcing
Detect and have an active participation on training and couching, Implementing best practices thru all areas, Monthly Quality Initiatives.
Tracking data
Maintain records for management reviews including Quality down falls and Down time (tool room, maintenance, materials, drawings, etc)
Rip Yield report analysis
Identify opportunity areas to improve yield.
Investigate when material needed for a job was substantially more than called for on BOM.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
