We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position requires a thorough understanding of quality systems and the ability to conduct inspections using various measuring tools and techniques.
Duties
Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Utilize various quality assurance tools including micrometers, coordinate measuring machines, and vision inspection systems to assess product quality.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics.
Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, and FDA regulations.
Participate in internal audits and assist in the development of quality management procedures.
Provide training and guidance to team members on quality assurance practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality systems and methodologies.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP standards, and FDA regulations is highly desirable.
Proficient in using inspection tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with other departments.
