From inspecting materials to leading external audits, you’ll oversee quality processes that keep operations running smoothly. What You’ll Do:
Inspect returned and rejected materials for defects such as improper hardness, cracks, and cleanliness.
Perform microstructure, hardness, and case inspections.
Identify the root causes of defects and implement preventive measures.
Maintain log sheets, prints, problem analyses, and all quality-related documents.
Conduct dock audits, inspection audits, and process adjustments.
Lead and coordinate quality training for production staff.
Act as the company’s representative for external audits, including ISO and CQI-9 re-certifications.
Collaborate with customers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Supervise and support quality team members while enforcing company policies.
We Offer this position (Quality Technician):
Pay: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Weekly pay and the opportunity for permanent hire with strong performance.
A $100 bonus for every friend you refer to us, plus an additional $25 bonus for your referral to WSI.
Qualifications for this role include:
Experience in quality inspection and auditing processes.
Familiarity with ISO and CQI-9 standards.
Must be able to speak, write, and read basic English.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to train and lead team members in quality practices.
Basic mathematical and reasoning skills for interpreting data and measurements.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud machinery.
