Quality Management System (QMS) Coordinator
Job Summary:
The QMS Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating with various departments, conducting internal audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain QMS: Implement and maintain the QMS in line with organizational objectives and industry standards, such as RVIA.
Compliance: Ensure the QMS complies with all relevant regulations and standards.
Documentation: Maintain and update all QMS documentation, such as quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
Training: Train and coach staff on QMS policies, procedures, and principles to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Internal Audits: Plan, conduct, and monitor internal audits to measure the effectiveness of the QMS, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance.
Quality Requirements: Work with other departments to establish quality requirements for raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.
Management Review: Organize and lead Management Review meetings to review the performance of the QMS and identify opportunities for improvement.
External Audits: Coordinate with external auditors during regulatory and customer audits and assign necessary corrective actions.
Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and initiate improvement actions as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in quality management or a similar role.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality management systems, advanced manufacturing tools, quality standards, and regulations (e.g., RVIA).
Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer) are a plus.
