At Sjoberg Tool & Manufacturing, our Quality Technicians do far more than inspect parts. This role combines hands-on quality inspection with root cause analysis, process improvement, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. It’s an excellent fit for experienced Quality Inspectors, Quality Auditors, Quality Technicians, or Quality Engineer professionals who enjoy being actively involved on the manufacturing floor.

What You’ll Do
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T, work orders, and engineering drawings
- Conduct dimensional, weld, paint, fit, and visual inspections
- Analyze quality data and identify trends or recurring issues
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Assist with PPAP documentation and quality system activities
- Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements
- Work directly with Production and Engineering to resolve issues
- Complete inspection reports, NCRs, and quality documentation
Tools & Technology You’ll Use
- ROMER Articulating Arm CMM
- Virtek Scanner
- Calipers, micrometers, height gages
- Pin gages, thread gages, and other precision measuring equipment
What We’re Looking For
- Quality inspection, quality auditing, quality technician, or manufacturing quality experience
- Strong blueprint and GD&T interpretation skills
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with production and engineering teams
- Experience in fabrication, welding, sheet metal, or manufacturing environments is preferred
