Quality Technician Senior w/CMM Programming

The Quality Technician Senior is responsible for CMM programming, conducting routine receiving inspection, and/or first article inspection on all procured products, and performing regular finished goods inspections in accordance with established procedures and parameters. Develop and use QA planning check sheets.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 8 years minimum on-the-job inspection related experience.
Required: Skilled in the use and programming of standard measuring instruments, coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and portable coordinate measuring machine (PCMM) use and programming, optical comparator, personal computer (PC) skills, Microsoft Excel. PC-DMIS experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Skilled in CMM Programming
• Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 and possess the ability to interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of ANSI-14.5-2018.
• Able to understand shop math.
• Knowledgeable in the use of all standard inspection tools including optical comparator.
• Ability to program coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and portable coordinate measuring machine (PCMM) using various measurement software.
• Competent in the interpretation of ANSI Y14.5 tolerance.
• Possess intermediate written and oral English communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Under the direction of a Quality Engineer, prepare quality inspection plans for product In-Process and Final Inspection using available DOVER tools, for example:
Mentor, ETQ, DOZUKI.
• Using QMS tools, maintain records of product conformance in adherence to QA plans.
• Responsible for adhering to and enforcing all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for performing all of the following duties in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Procedures.
• Responsible for performing inspections on all procured parts compliant to Integrity Procedures.
• Able to perform AS9102 First Article Inspection.
• Responsible for generating all documentation related to the above tasks in accordance with established ISO 9001 procedures.
• Assist in sustaining desired inventory levels and support production requirements.
• Assist in training lower-level team members.
• Lead in MRB investigations as assigned by Supervision.
• Must demonstrate commitment to safety & continual improvement of OH&S performance, registered standards, company policy, integrity, ethics, and legal compliance.
• Performs all other duties assigned by Supervision.
Salary Range: $29.00 – $33.00
