Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting quality audits, implementing quality systems, and collaborating with various departments to enhance product quality and compliance with industry regulations. The Quality Engineer will also be responsible for analyzing processes and providing recommendations for improvements.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough quality audits to ensure compliance with HACCP, CGMP, and other relevant standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to enhance product integrity.
Perform quality inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or areas for improvement.
Collaborate with project management teams to integrate quality assurance practices into project plans.
Analyze data from quality inspections and audits to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
Fabricate test samples as needed for analysis and validation of processes.
Ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Provide training and support to team members on quality procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
Over 5 years of practical, hands-on experience in injection molding.
Strong working knowledge of injection molding processes and ancillary equipment.
Comprehensive understanding of various thermoplastic materials and their properties.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and precision.
What will put you ahead?
RJG Master Molder I/II certification.
Experience mentoring and developing junior members of the molding process development team.
Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends to meet project or production demands.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
