Quality/Validation Equipment Specialist Jobs in Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands at Planet Pharma
The Quality Equipment Specialist ensures that equipment used in manufacturing, labs, and support areas meets quality standards throughout its lifecycle—from selection and design to calibration, maintenance, and decommissioning. The role supports and oversees these activities to ensure compliance with regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve equipment lifecycle documents (e.g., URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, and change controls).
Work closely with Engineering, CQV, and Maintenance to ensure equipment meets quality and operational requirements.
Approve commissioning and qualification protocols and reports in line with cGMP and regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, ISO, ICH).
Ensure equipment and instruments are calibrated and maintained as per approved procedures.
Take part in equipment and process risk assessments (e.g., FMEA).
Support and follow up on equipment-related deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
Track equipment quality issues and recommend improvements.
Ensure documentation follows data integrity and ALCOA+ principles.
Help prepare for audits and inspections, providing documentation and expertise as needed.
Key Requirements:
5
-7 years of experience in quality/validation role
Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations
Experience with laboratory, manufacturing, and/or facility equipment validation and qualification.
Experience with equipment like Prodigy, NC-202, Endo Safe is a plus
