Job Summary:
Seeking a motivated Quality Receiving Inspector I to perform routine visual and mechanical inspections of components, assemblies, and products in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This is a growth role with potential to advance two levels within inspection.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of inspection experience
Strong computer skills
Blueprint reading experience
Proficient with hand tools (calipers, OD micrometers, pin gages, comparators)
Nice to Have:
Experience inspecting PCBs
SAP knowledge
Familiarity with AS9100/AS9102 standards
IPC certification
Core Responsibilities:
Perform visual/mechanical inspections of electronic and electromechanical components
Use inspection tools like calipers, torque wrenches, ring gages, etc.
Document acceptance/rejection and support internal audits
Maintain QA procedures and participate in continuous improvement
Support first article inspections (FAI) per AS9102
Preferred Background:
Aerospace industry experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of ISO 9001 & aerospace standards
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 – $22.67 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
